🍂 Autumn Welcome Sign – Solid Douglas Fir Wooden Door Décor

Welcome the changing season with a rustic Autumn Welcome Sign, made from solid Douglas fir and decorated with individually cut wooden autumn leaves in warm, natural tones.

Measuring approximately 51 × 32 cm, this wooden fall door sign is designed to bring a subtle touch of autumn to your front door, entranceway or covered porch without overwhelming the space.

What makes this sign particularly special is where the wood comes from. Rather than cutting new timber specifically for these signs, the solid Douglas fir is made from offcuts left over from previously ordered barn doors. Pieces that would otherwise be workshop waste are given a new purpose as seasonal home décor.

The white finish allows the natural texture and character of the Douglas fir to remain visible, while the layered wooden “Welcome” lettering and individually detailed leaves add warmth and dimension.

Because Douglas fir is a natural material, every autumn welcome sign will have its own grain, knots and small variations. No two will be completely identical.

♻️ Made From Our Barn Door Offcuts
One of my favourite details about this wooden autumn sign is that its story begins with another piece.

The Douglas fir used to create these signs comes from usable cut-offs produced while making our made-to-order barn doors. Instead of discarding these smaller sections, they are selected, prepared and transformed into something completely new.

It means the wood gets another life — and its original knots, grain and character become part of your autumn décor.

However, if you have something different in mind, I can customize the sign. This could include changes to the wording or potentially the finish depending on your requirements.
